School from Home - Day 1 - Part 1: Beautiful Book Cover

Hello Readers,

The next weeks on my blog are going to be slightly different due to the COVID19 virus. Even though school has shut I will still be posting on my blog with the work I am doing while we are in self-isolation. The first activity I have done is to make a book cover using Canva. I didn't know if we were supposed to use a book that already existed or make one up so I decide to make one up. I don't know if a book called 'Dear Lucy.' exists, but if it does the cover is not for that book. Here it is.

My cover design is pretty bright and colorful which would help it stand out on a bookshelf. I included some reviews on the bottoms so that customers could see what other people think.
What activities are you doing during the COVID19 lockdown?

See you later!

  1. This is so creative Daisy - and has hooked me in I want to read the story... can you write it?! I like how the colours are bold and suit the cover well. Super impressed with your start to distant learning. Mrs O
